For over 100 years, the City of Boulder’s Parks and Recreation department has promoted access to nature, health and wellness. It’s recreation system is a reflection of the community’s long held values and support for parkland, green space, and natural preservation. We were commissioned to rebrand, design, develop, and implement a new wayfinding system that incorporated entrance monument signs for 60 parks including sports fields, playgrounds, picnic shelters, pocket and dog parks. Our plans not only required complete installation details but a long-term maintenance program that the city could easily adapt into their 35 year goals and strategies for the Parks and Recreation wayfinding program.
